| Sunday, July 20: Fly to Prague |
| Pre-trip
data: Check out of Cork Airport hotel. Courtesy transport to airport.
Fly to London Stansted via Ryan Air FR# 902 departing at 9:15 a.m., arrive
10:30 a.m. Transfer to EasyJet #3623 departing 1:05 p.m., arriving Prague
4 p.m. Hotel: Prague
Marriott. This is the beginning of a slew of hotel stays with
Marriott (and one Hilton). We hope that the American-style *air
conditioning* -- a rare and much-needed commodity this unusually hot
summer in Europe -- and amenities (not to mention the favorable big city
hotel pricing due to their offering of 2 DBL or 2 Q bedded rooms vs. most
European hotel offerings of only a single DBL or Q bed, or 2 twins, in a
room, necessitating 2 rooms at high prices) will more than make up for any
lack of Old World Charm. |
